Chef Kwane is awesome! I am vegetarian and I tried quinoa and beans empanadas. Side kick of three sauces added soul to the recipe. I absolutely loved it. 💚💚💚💚. Not just the food Chef Kwane, his assistant and lovely SHACK umbrellas complete the vibe!!!! Do come and spend some time at bay kitchen if you want few hours Caribbean / beach side break. 🏖️🏖️🏖️🏖️🏖️🐚🩴🐚🐚🐚🩴🩴🩴🩴
As a native New Yorker with strong Caribbean roots, I was so happy to discover Little Bay Caribbean Kitchen. My husband took me there today, and everything we ordered was absolutely amazing—oxtail, jerk chicken, stewed chicken, and escovitch fish were all full of authentic flavor. The fresh juices and house-made pickles were so good and really took me back—it honestly reminded me of the foods I grew up with. What made the experience even more special was the chef personally greeting us with genuine respect and a warm smile—it truly made us feel at home. Living in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, it’s not always easy to find restaurants that truly represent Caribbean culture, so this was such a refreshing find. We’re definitely coming back and look forward to continuing to support this spot!
My first time here for myself and my husband today 2/15/26. We came all the way from Reading, PA. I got the Curry chicken, white rice and cabbage. My husband had the Jerk Chicken, white rice, and cabbage and the food was nicely seasoned and tastes amazing. The mango passion fruit juice was great as well. Thank you for your service and hard work. We will be visiting again.
Hands down some of the best Caribbean food I’ve had locally. Everything was packed with flavor, perfectly seasoned, and clearly made with care. You can taste the authenticity in every bite. The portions were generous, the service was friendly, and it’s exactly the kind of food that keeps you thinking about it long after you’re done. So grateful to have this food truck in our community—can’t wait to go back 🇯🇲🔥
Absolutely incredible! I ordered the whiting and oxtail, and both dishes blew me away. The flavors were so rich and authentic, you can truly taste the skill that went into every bite. My brother and I couldn’t stop talking about how good it was, and immediately drove back just to get more oxtail for our parents to try. That’s how good it was! The oxtail was tender, perfectly seasoned, and bursting with flavor. I was literally still savoring it long after I finished, just sucking my teeth enjoying the taste. The whiting was crispy, fresh, and seasoned to perfection. Definitely will be going back regularly. I can confidently say this is the best food I've had in Pottstown.
Review: The jerky chicken with rice was perfect. The chicken was slow-cooked, juicy, and full of flavor. The spice had just the right kick not overpowering, just warm and rich. The plantains were soft and sweet, balancing the heat from the chicken. The cabbage salad, whatever its name is, added a nice crunch and freshness. Altogether, it was a simple but amazing meal hearty, comforting, and packed with taste.
I pass this place a lot because I live on 100, and I always meant to stop in. I finally did today. Just as all the reviews I read stated: delicious food and exceptional service. Got the oxtail and the jerk chicken. Both fell of the bone. Both were amazing, and the jerk chicken was spicy without taking away taste. The mac/cheese was so delicious and flavorful. The sautéed cabbage was excellent, as were the plantains. Zero complaints. And the amount of food for the price was generous. Can't wait to eat my way through the rest of the menu!
Hands down the best authentic Caribbean food around! The flavors are consistently there. The jerk chicken falls of the bone and has some heat to it! Portions are large and reasonably priced and the service is fast and friendly.
